THROUGH THEIR EYES AFRICA

It's a blogathan, baby! A fantastic photographer, David Hessemer is doing a blogathon TODAY for his "Through Their Eyes" Africa project. He is going to be taking a team including two FANTASTIC photographers (Jessica Claire and David Jay) to Africa next year to areas where all the adults have died and the children are on their own with little help. The team will be helping these kids and teaching them to take photographs, in the hope of giving them a skill as well as to be able to see the world the way they see it. The photographs they take will be formed into a traveling exhibit all over the country.

It's really a fantastic project, however, it needs funding to make it happen! Today and tomorrow there's a blogathon happening. The link where you go to donate and learn more about the project is:

Maelyn

This week I had the joy of photographing Maelyn for her 1 year photos! She is such a cutie pie! She has grown up so much since I took her photos a few months ago - this time I chased her around the park and caught some super cute shots!

Jessica & Dave

Jessica and Dave's wedding was pretty in pink - literally! Pink dresses, pink flowers, pink ties, pink decorations....not a detail was spared - and it was beautiful.
They are such a fun couple! When Jessica walks in a room, Dave's face just lights up - it's easy to see there's a lot of love between these two.

Amber & David

Check out some of my favorite photos from Amber and David's engagement shoot! We will be shooting their wedding in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico late July and we are SOOOOO excited! They are such a cute couple! They've been together sinced 7th grade and are so comfortable around each other. They spent a lot of time laughing and flirting in front of the camera - I loved it!!

This past Saturday, we had the joy of photographing Megan & Brian's wedding! Fortunately, the rain held off and we were able to get some amazing shots outside. They were a blast to work with, letting me try out all of my crazy ideas on them!
