Jess & Joe

A couple of weeks ago Jess & Joe got married - and had a gorgeous celebration! You may remember them from a couple of months ago, when I did their engagement photos...my weather predicting skills got us caught in the rain - oops! Well, we got to use the umbrella again on their wedding day (just until it cleared off and was beautiful outside!) Check out a few of my favorite shots!

Kalen

I was so excited to do Kalen's senior photos - I photographed her sisters wedding last summer so it was really fun to see her again! Doesn't she have some gorgeous blue eyes?!?! Check out my favorites (it was hard to choose!)

Seniors

Ok, I've been so busy with the website that I've been slacking a little in the blogging department...so it's time to catch up!

First up is Matt. Matt's a busy high school senior - he's a football player, a golfer and he plays on West Branch's boys basketball team which my husband coaches! He took me on my first golf cart ride through a corn field (I was hanging on for dear life but both my camera and I survived! :) Check out a few of my favorite shots:




Next up is Alex - he's also a senior and he plans to move to California after he graduates to become a successful Hollywood director - I told him to remember us little people once he's famous! :)

New Website...

Or not...apparently the new site I currently have running has a corrupt file and cannot be used! Hearing this news broke my heart but I will have a NEW new website up and running soon! Everyone who has online proofing, please go to my old website which is now at www.samanthabenderphoto.com and contact me if you have any questions!
Also, my favorite designer o.design has a new blog you need to check out! He will have some samples of his work on their soon, so keep checking back!

New Site

As you have probably discovered, our new website is up! Unfortunately, we had a few unexpected days of down time, due to domain name transfers but I think the new site was worth it! We have a ton of our latest work on the site so make sure to check it out!
Also, if you had proofing on our old site, no need to worry, it's still up! Just go to www.samanthabenderphoto.com and everything should still be the same.

Callie

Callie came to us for senior photos last week and we had some fun! She has a vibrant personality and she quickly warmed up in front of the camera. She is so cute and I think she is very photogenic!! :) I think we got some GREAT shots!

Jenna

Here are a few of my favorite shots from Jenna's senior photo shoot last week. Isn't she pretty! She was fun to work with and we took some shots at a favorite spot of mine that has a little waterfall - it's my secret spot - no one can figure out where it is!

Amber & David

Amber and David had such a beautiful wedding Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! Their ceremony was intimate, including close friends and family, and it was held in a beautiful stone site overlooking the ocean. Following the ceremony, we all shared in a delicious meal together.
Then, Amber and David joined Stephen and I on the beach to do some amazing photos of them with the sunset! As you can see from some of the photos below, my new favorite look is sun flare - isn't it gorgeous!?
I have to say this wedding was an absolute blast! We loved every second of it! Thank you Amber and David for including us in your big day!

Jessica

Right before we left we had our first unofficial After the Wedding bridal session, a new idea of ours that lets brides get more use out of their dress, than just on the wedding day! Our bride was Jessica, you may recognize her from an earlier post, as she got married this past June and we photographed her wedding.

Mason, Cade & Quinn

Ok, we're back from Mexico!!! The trip was fabulous, the wedding was beautiful and my sunburn is almost completely gone! :) Before I can give you some photos from the trip, I have to keep up with my photo shoots! Here are some photos of Michelle's children Mason, Cade and Quinn. These kids are not only gorgeous but they're such little angels! During the shoot I kept thinking about how I would be chasing my two year old around if it was him in the shoot, but her children were just so perfect! Check out some of my favorite shots:

Skippin' Town

We leave tonight at 3am for Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where we'll be shooting a destination wedding! Woo hoo! We're so excited....sorta sad to leave our kiddos (but they'll be staying at our house with grandma, so we know they'll be taken care of!)
We'll be home on August 1st, so if we're hard to reach, you now know why! We'll do our best to keep up on voicemails and emails while we're gone but we're not sure of what type of access we'll have, so you can rest assure that we'll get back to you when we return home!

So little time...

I have so many photo shoots to tell you about and so little time to do it before we leave for our destination wedding in Mexico...my posts might be brief but I've gotta show you these great photos...let's think quality, not quantity! :)
Here's Dani, she's one of our senior spokesmodels and this is her 2nd shoot...you might remember her from some photos this past Spring:








Here's Jenae and Will, the wedding we photographed this past weekend. Isn't Jenae gorgeous?! I swear she could be a model. We got creative inside the church basement with some funky chairs since Jenae's eyes are super sensitive to sunlight. The shots came out pretty sweet!






Here's Aaron, a high school senior and our neighbor! It was fun taking his photos, he's a super nice kid!





Here's Brian, another high school senior. I absolutely love this second shot - I think it just fits his personality really well, and it shows off his favorite green shirt!




Finally, here's the Hartzler family. They're relatives of ours and wanted to take a family photo before Jon heads out of town again (he's in the army.) I just love this first photo - they're such a cute family!
